The following 10 questions originally came from a French series, "Bouillon de Culture" hosted by Bernard Pivot. They are probably more familiar as the questions James Lipton asks at the end of the televisions series "Inside the Actor's Studio."

1 What is your favorite word?
"Onomatopoeia (for both how it sounds and what it means)."
2 What is your least favorite word?
"Like (also my most used)."
3 What turns you on creatively, spiritually or emotionally?
"Honest curiosity."
4 What turns you off?
"Pretense."
5 What is your favorite curse word?
"'Fuck' is always the one to beat."
6 What sound or noise do you love?
"The sound of lots of people walking across a marble floor in hard heeled shoes."
7 What sound or noise do you hate?
"The silence between the sound of tires screeching and the sound of the consequent car accident."

What profession, other than your own, would you like to attempt?

"Something that pays me for my thoughts and opinions (grown up response); shortstop for the Red Sox (little kid response)."
9 What profession would you not like to? 
"I once had a job taking these light bulbs off an assembly line, coating them in powdered teflon, and putting them back on the line. I stood at the open end of a 700°F oven, and the average temperature in which I worked was 125°. That was pretty bad."
10 If Heaven exists, what would you like to hear God say when you arrive at the pearly gates?
"You, again?!!"
